It's Just Water

BRIEF



The Dragon Rouge “Modern Protest Brand” brief asks us to create a bold protest brand responding to a contemporary issue.



FINDINGS


While working at a summer camp, I noticed many children aged 8-13 using expensive skincare products designed for adults. This firsthand observation aligned with research from dermatologists, who warn that active ingredients in many luxury skincare products can damage young, developing skin.

OUTCOME


It's Just Water is a speculative water bottle brand that challenges image-driven beauty culture by making water feel as desirable as luxury skincare. .


The bottle uses frosted, recyclable packaging inspired by high-end cosmetics, reframing hydration as something aspirational while remaining environmentally conscious.
