CREATING THE WORK

The focus for my uplifting mood box is a cow, as a play on the word 'moo' as a fun reference to mood.

For the background - the flowers are a vibrant yellow and a calming blue, to reflect different moods. They each also have different faces to remind us that every feeling is valid and it is ok to experience them all.

BRIEF

In my first year at university I was tasked to create a well-being toolkit for Lush Cosmetics, with the purpose of uplifting mood at festivals.

The aim was to design a portable, interactive experience that encourages festival-goers to take a moment for self-care and feel more positive.

My toolkit utilises self-care to create a mood-lifting experience that celebrates emotional awareness. By combining Lush’s sensory appeal with a colourful design, it encourages users to connect with their feelings. The box is targeted toward festival-goers seeking moments of calm amid the chaos inside a busy festival. The kit promotes self-care through cards, stickers, and trackers that boost their mood. The design’s warmth and humour make well-being approachable, while Lush’s ethical values reinforce trust and authenticity, creating a meaningful experience.
